Was at a local wrecking yard last week and there were two mostly complete old Bugs sitting there. One was missing the engine but I have numerous extra ones. 61 and a 65. While doing the deal on them INE of the guys pointed at a car coming across the scales and said I could buy all three. Nice looking 98 Gold that a young GI from the bade was scrapping because there was a problem with the left front wheel. Bought all three. They delivered them and the car was loaded with every new part to rebuilt the front end. A arms, ball joints, every rubber mount and bushing...everything. Come to find out , they had removed one ball joint and didn't understand how to install the new one. 90 minutes from getting it I was driving. Has new tires and tons of new parts to put on the shelf. One Bug will be running today, the other I'll pop an engine in and maybe give it to someone needing a car. Not bad for $1000 for all three.

Jack you make me crazy and you are my hero!
