I heard today in the news that Jason Dunham, a 22 year old Marine serving in Iraq, was awarded the Congressional Medal of Honor (posthumously) for throwing himself on a grenade to save his comrades nearby.

His parents will receive the award, presented by President Bush.

All I can seem to say is: THREE CHEERS FOR BRAVE DUNHAM!!!

Sorry, but this stuff always overwhelms me. Such bravery!

Thanks for listening!

Sounds like the Chorus to a ballad... sounds as though he deserves one to be written of him.
A glass is raised here.
To bravery! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/cheers.gif /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thirsty.gif /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/patriot.gif
