Thread size and pipe size for steel clutch line...

OK, since the engine is coming out, Hap reccommends that I run a steel line from the clutch Master down to where the ols slave cylnder sits and then I run a SS flex line into the Taylor box. Do I just buy sections of 1/4" brake pipe and bend it? What size/thread is the fitting into the master cylnder?

Pictures or ideas from the experts here would instill confidence that I may only screw it up a little!
 
The threads into the master should be 3/8x24, or the same as a #3 AN fitting. That's a 3/16" line, by the way. I use AN fittings sealed with a copper crush washer, and then mate them to the hard line or hose. If you want to run 1/4" line, you would have to get the appropriate reducer, from #3 to #4 AN.
Are you running the Tilton master cylinder setup?
I don't know what size fitting the concentric T/O bearing uses, though.

I reran the clutch line on Bugsy my '68. Wasn't hard to bend and set up. Went down to the Union shown in the Moss book that converts to flex line going into Master Cylinder. Hardwest part was finding correct fittings as I recall. No one had what was needed to go into CLutch Hose Adapter.
