What do 'ya think about staying stock on rear springs TR6?
For now, a little heavier fluid/oil to the stock shocks
with a definite commitment to place Konis later?

Ahhhh, yes, there is beauty in simplicity... but, am I
making a mistake?

Getting all wound up on this coil spring thing -- sorry
for the pun.

Stock springs from Moss rated at about 350-something
foot pounds. How fer off from "heavy duty" am I?

Like the price, too. Do you think I would be sorry.
Dennis.

As I said in several of the earlier posts, I swapped out my sagging original rear springs for new TRF stock springs and I'm very happy. I also installed all new bushings and link packages on the rear end as well as Apple Hydraulics Heavy Duty rebuilt lever shocks.

My car is now level and rides and handles perfectly well for my driving style.

OOPS!!! EDIT:

Sorry about that. Here is the project in question.

I'm in agreement with Brosky, if you're going to change your shocks go ahead and change your coil springs. The springs are the foundation of your suspension.

I'm not gonna re-edit my edit. What a dope I am!!!

Make sure that you get new rubber mounting cushions for under the top and bottom of the shocks and clean that area out well before installing.

Crypty had busted coils springs, no coil spring
rubbers top or bottom, the shocks' bodies were
not attached to the frame, the differential mounts
worn down to nubbs and the bump stops history.

I took everything back to original and the
few miles Crypty has moved were much improved.
The tail end is now level also.
