Years ago a friend's grandmother did almost exactly dat'. Now Year's eve, bus driver stops teh bus at midnight and goes to a phone booth to call his wife. Grandmother figures he is taking too long, takes teh bus, drives it almost home, parks it around teh corner and walks teh rest of teh way. (Her auto boady shop also ordered parts in advance)
