After a 7 year restoration it is finally road worthy. Still a few more trim items to add and need to hook up the dash lights, but other than that it is done.

Thanks to Dave Russell for some 11th hour assistance.

Your car is absolutely gorgeous, a big WOW to you and congratulations! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/cheers.gif

I think you’re going to have to change your forum name. Obviously you’ve spent the time and money to do it right. Well done. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/cheers.gif

I will try to get some additional shots when I have a chance.

This is the original color Florida Green/Old English White. It had been painted 4 times when I purchased it with the last colors being Jaguar Fawn and bronze colors. The car was orginally sold in Bahrein Saudi Arabia and it still has the ARAMCO and Arabian Auto Assoc stickers on the windshield. It was delivered less a heater and has remained that way.

Scott, I think that stuff is just fascinating, all these cars have many stories to tell, it's interesting to hear some of them. I found in some boxed junk that came with my car the original owner's manual, all grease soaked and old-as-dirt, and inside that was the original purchase receipt from when the car was ordered new and delivered in Florida /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/yesnod.gif /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/yesnod.gif Would be great to see more pictures of your car when you have time /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/cheers.gif

Just to set the record straight Bahrain is not Saudi Arabia it is a small island country with a bridge to Saudi. ARAMCO is was the Saudi American Oil company and had a huge compound with bowling, movies, regular stores etc etc. Yep would have been a nice car there for half the year.

Spent 8 years over there. Isn't it fun to know where your car started life?

Great job ! Now for the fun part !

Great pictures. Those are the colors my car should be and I will save these pictures for reference.
