Long story short, went to the ER thinking heart attack. All is well and back home now. Doc was VERY cool and understanding, saved us a bunch of money.

Glad you are OK.

Spent a few days in hospital a couple of years back after getting chest pains and short of breath. I went to casualty (ER in the USA) and they took me in straight away and gave me all the tests under the sun. I was on a heart monitor on for four days, blood tests galore and I had an coronary angiogram (wish I new what they gave me by way of a calmimg agent, spent the whole process giggling to myself). Luckily they all came back clear. The docs put it down to stress (my Dad had died a few weeks before of a heart attack while on holiday in Cyprus which meant for a very difficult time repatriating him and looking after my Mum).

Despite its critics I have nothing but praise for the free medical care the NHS gives in the UK.

Whew....glad you are OK! Scary stuff.

Yeah, I was a little spooked. I normally joke with the staff whenever I go in and Kelly wasn't having ANY of it this time. Never seen her like that before.
