I just saw the trailer for a new video game coming out next April. Looks like the Clint Eastwood film "Unforgiven" in all it's cinematic glory. If the game is anything like the Grand Theft Auto series, it should be amazing. Here is a link to the two trailers they have. Red Dead Redemption
This is a screen shot from the game. I had to shrink the photo down to attach it here, so it actually looks better.

I'm not a gamer but the artwork in those 2 trailers is great! Was it just my old laptop that caused the audio to be so broken? How would you ever play that thing - I could just sit & watch it like a movie!

Great stuff.
I like the western theme.
It would be something my son could play and I could watch... not bad.

The language and violence of Rockstar games can be pretty harsh. If your son is young, I'd keep that in mind.

Hi Tony,
I didn't have any problems with the sound. You can download the trailers from that page instead of streaming the video if it is a internet speed problem. Game play isn't that hard if it is like their other games. If you want to ride a horse, you just walk up to it and push a button. That will have your guy jump up in the saddle, then you have forward, stop, left and right to maneuver. The thing I like best about these games is they aren't linear. You can do what ever you want whenever. They'll probably have a saloon where you can go play poker, or you can go rob a train.

It was the speakers in my old laptop....the ones on my garage computer are sending out some great stereo sound!

Man, that's good!

Greg;
He's 18, but the violence still get me.
