That's why instructors get the big bucks...

Roger that, Rick!

You probably want to fly with that pilot -
what are the odds of that ever happening again to the same person?

did you see the door being opened before they were done spinning?

I saw one once match same speed with a truck, and they layed the wing with the unoperative retractable gear onto the bed of the truck, and landed safely that way.

Basic Flying Rules:

1. Try to stay in the middle of the air.

2. Do not go near the edges of it.

3. The edges of the air can be recognized by the appearance of ground, buildings, sea, trees and interstellar space. It is much more difficult to fly there.

Kenny's apparently never seen a U-2 landing.

Judges?

Well, that's just a jet powered sailplane. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smirk.gif And it had little wheels in the wingtips.

You mean where the wing tips want to hit the ground or the wobbling it does as it slows, like a glider.

Yeah, and those little wheels FELL OFF on takeoff... landings were "aided" by an ElCamino as a wingtip gear substitute!

AV-8Bs have the wingtip wheels that don't come off... /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smirk.gif
