Looking at the videos after the initial one, apparently the walking mechanism is a Theo Jansen Mechanism. Here's a video of how it works: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NM4q-f68TlY It looks like the boneshaker bike has 4 sets of legs. Not so simple.
