This car is likely to be straighter and have better fit and finish than any E-Type fresh out of Coventry. We had this V-12 in the shop in late 90's and I did an engine rebuild. We had serviced it and fixed any of the things going wrong with it for years. It returned for a full restoration a couple years ago, been disassembled, "tank dipped", all rust areas cut out and replaced. Color changed from deep blue to BRG. Now my former partner is doing final touches to make the panels all mate up and fit perfectly before final top coats. He did the second engine rebuild as well. Car will be a very nice example soon.

Sweet! If I were inclined to change colors on my E, BRG would likely be the choice.
