Think we could adapt this?

Hey JP
that might fit the thing in the garage
Phil

yes you could adapt it, but would you really want a bit of vulgar jap plastic vibrating on the back of your car?
imho

Hey Phil and JP

Both you guys need to spend more time reading in the library. We will be racing for pink slips this year.

I'll believe that when I see it

I dunno about the zoom-zoom twin humps, but it's about time someone designed a hard tonneau for our cars.

Hey Bill,

Spridgetech does a hard (fiberglass) tonneau for our Spridgets. It doesn't have the double humps, but it is good quality. I have one but it needs to be modified to fit around my roll bars.

Coool, Steve! Thanks for the info. Price looks good, too. I might have to give that some thought! Will it shoehorn into the trunk when it's not in use?

Here is another cool idea. Fits just the frogs. No visable holes.

Bill,

I've never tried to fit the Spridgetech fiberglass tonneau into the trunk of my 1974 Spridget. I'm sure it would be a tight fit. Spridgetech's design is not as clever as the split design by Mo$$.

Scott's "bumps" above are pretty impressive. Are they custom? Fiberglass? Available somewhere?

Thanks.

Steve

It could look cool (the one for the Miata).

One could probably make some out of an old missile nose cone thoo...

I saw this on a car for sale on the web late last year. Owner said the bumps were custom made. So you think the frog lights would work? Who has a bonnet they would like to donate to the cause? Glass should work. The subject bumps were out of fiberglass. So someone has the mold, right?

How about modifying something like this?
