I went by the body shop yesterday. It seems that the tub will be ready to bring home next week. I can then start the process of getting the car back together.

Some of you might remember that the first shop let the car sit for about 5 months and did absolutely nothing to it. The guy working on the car now is doing a great job. I am almost glad that the first guy didn't start on the car.

The season will be over before I get to drive the car this year, but it will give me time this winter to get some of the other mechanicals sorted out and the interior installed for next year.

I would post pictures but I haven't mastered that yet.

Pete - if you've got a digital picture or two ...

You can post them on another website (like Photobucket, etc.) and just link to them in your BCF post.

Or ... you can use FileManager in your BCF post to:

- upload them here if each pic is around 200K or less in filesize. Your post will have a link to the uploaded pic.

- or if the pic is around 20K and around 200x200 pixels, you can just "embed" it in your post.

You'll see FileManager under the text window when you make a post using Post or Reply (but not Quick Reply). Open FileManager, click Browse to find the picture on your local computer, then click Add, then click Done.

Hope this helps.

Pete- you need to upload it and then click on the IMG image then past it to the post. You can preview it to see if it worked.

The car looks pretty good in the pictures and from 20' away. The car is solid but it has had some damage in the past. It was repaired by the PO. I give him a lot of credit because he had never had any experience in body or paint work. The paint was pretty good but there was a lot of waves and the body panels did not align properly.

The car is to be a driver and I think it is going to be very presentable.

Besides, I can never leave well enough alone, Pete
