I've got a new three car garage too. I didn't like the thought of my Ford Ranger sitting outside all winter so I traded for the Miata. My wife gets to drive the MINI so she let me do the deal. Three keen cars and still only 1 car payment.

Life is good.

Now that's what I call efficient! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbsup.gif

I am working the same setup with the TC across the wall.....U might wanna string up some tennis balls from the rafters as parking aids....aline it so when ur windsheild his the ball you stop and don't risk hitting the midget.

Nice work, Marvin. Small cars are a wonderful thing.

Way to go - I second the tip of hanging tennis balls from the ceiling so they touch the windshield of your wife's car (yours, also) to let you know when to stop....also, if you have a Harbor Freight nearby, get their car skates for the Midget...makes it easy for you to push around &, if the weather permits one day during winter, you can take it out for a spin with relatively little work (plus they lift the car a few inches so "oncoming traffic" can better see it!

Looks like a great place for a stacker....

Get 2 & you can fit in another car. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Swimming pool noodles make great bumpers for the sides when you car is on skates.

My father tied the tennis balls to a string that passed through an eyelet and was tied to the garage door. So when the garage door was down the balls were pulled up out of the way. And of course when the door was opened, the balls were lowered into place to mark the parking spot.

I'll stop just short of calling that Archimedean, & call it brilliant.

What kind of place would the world be without old men fiddling in the garage.
(or bar napkins for that matter)
(or butterflies flapping)

Thats a great idea...I am gunna make mine like that..Thanks!

Knowing my wife (and myself) the tennis ball solution would not work. I have some nice heavy rectangular slices of cut rock in place to prevent us from getting too close to Madge. I may, however, look into the skates. Thanks for the tip.

Watch Harbor Freight's sales - I buy them when they go to 50% off which happens from time to time down here.

Just went out and measured my garage, and with some shelving reworking, It looks like I could do a similar setup. Got me thinking (and my wife laughing). Once the Midget is gone...

Go to their web site https://www.harborfreight.com & join their on-line club...from time to time they send you coupons that you can print & take to the store....most times the store doesn't even know about those offerings.

Cool...Thanks...Now I just gotta find a store around here?
