Those of you who know me know that I maintain 'theMGList', a virtual car club on my web site, https://www.theautoist.com
...the club has members in most US states, most Canadian provinces, & several foreign countires off the continent...
...&, most of you realize I'm heading out on a 6-month, 15,000 mile trip to Alaska in my Airstream motorhome in May...towing my '79 MGB behind on a trailer....
...well, a friend of mine, Tom Bedenbaugh, convinced me to leave all my spare parts at home & just enjoy the trip..he says I can find mechanics everywhere & Moss is just overnight UPS away...so, if you know of any good repair shops anywhere on the continent - guys you trust with your cars, send me their information & I'll make a listing of them...that way, I'll be able to get my car repaired anywhere I go...

...I'm thinking about something along these lines:

TENNESSEE

MEMPHIS: Tom Bedenbaugh's great British & Italian shop, Imports & Sports Repair/Restoration. Tom knows British cars, his partner Tim knows Italian. If you're from out of town on a trip, they'll get right to you while you go have a hamburger across the street.

Tony, good idea!

I'll send you my entry for the list as soon as I go measure the mileage to include in directions on how to get there.

it's a great site, I highly reccomend it. If you want to be green with envy, check out his museum and garage sections. While you are there, join the MG list. you don't have to have one, just the disease

tony - the guys i use are people i think you're already familiar with - sportscar warehouse in arlington, tx. - sportscarwarehouse.com. byron, john and larry are great guys

actually it's a thumbs up as you pass the driver of any other British car whilst driving yours
