and no divorce attorneys needed....I will say its a REAL good thing David and I have a strong relationship because THAT WAS A *%#@$!!!! In the end...thanks Doc for the tongue depressor suggestion (we used pop cycle sticks, but the idea was the same.) No scratches on our new paint.

Also got the gas tank and lines and rear bumper installed.
Its sort of like putting together a 1:1 model!!

Good Job Terri and David!!!!!!!!!!!!

Now break out the beer and enjoy the rest of your evening.

I'm really looking forward to pics of this car when it is finished.

Dave

Well done.

The popcicle sticks usually are too wimpy to work for long, glad it went together tho.

I have a "Bugler" tobacco tin FULL of popsicle sticks and Q-tips here. Just for such occasions. And an ample supply of chopsticks.

Apparently you guys had time left over! Fuel system AND the bumper!?! I'm in admiration!

Jezebel is going to be jealous...

Congratulations. Enjoy the rest of your model. Stay clear of the glue, you may want to put a 5 speed transmission or a rebuilt overdrive and start another war on the forum...

Enjoy...

David and I were just talking this evening about the fact that we wish we could afford an overdrive transmission. They are really expensive. I think our plan is to reassemble and get her out of the garage for summer. Then drive her and play around as time and money allows for things like...overdrive, chrome bumpers and other things as we can.
