The weekly Tunebug up-date: painting bits

So this last week was not particularly productive, but I did get the brake back plates and the diff painted on Saturday. Monday's task is to try and assemble the brake bits on the bench. I've got to get a larger torque wrench on Tuesday so that I can reassemble the diff. My goal for this week is to have the brake plates and diff in the car. Once that's done, I'll be moving on to the rear brake lines and parking brake assembly.

Clean bits are so nice. That Diff. assy is supose to be black on a Bugeye.

I know that, Jack, but I like the aluminum look. Tunebug's not original anyways, so I'm taking liberties with color. It'll turn black soon enough, with the oil/grease/etc leaks.

Hay, Stop. It will not have oil and grease under there. You are putting all new seals and gaskets in. No reason for it to do that for another 20 to 30 years.
