Last night we went to a Christmas Concert - the Ennis Sisters from Newfoundland. Lovely! Unfortunately we had a significant snow squall hit just as rush hour was beginning. At one point there was a 50 mile backup of cars on the 401! (basically all of the Greater Toronto Area was in grid lock!)
Took us 1 1/2 hours to go 18 miles to the theatre - and got there with a minute to spare. Then the theatre was half empty because of the weather - which actually made it all rather special as it became much more intimate.
Thought you might enjoy them as I suspect they are more of a Canadian phenomenon.
