The Transition

The Terrafugia has been in development for some time. Although it looks pretty clever, I can't help but wonder about someone (either driver or stranger) dinging a control surface while parking or even worse while parked; it could be disaster.

I'll just go ahead and coin a new phrase. Sky Rage.

Well, somehow I don't see the vast majority doing all the due diligence needed to keep it safely flying. A side of the road breakdown takes on a who new meaning a 5000 feet. And the idea of only driving the last mile?? How many are within that small a range of an airport, as I wouldn't want them trying to land on a highway and pull off... Plus airborne radio procedures, some sort vehicle locator, black box, etc. If it becomes something truely available it would be a small niche market in my groundbound opinion.
