The sound of music

Well...the old cassette player gave it up for ghost.
I installed a new CD/AM/FM player. Wow. The speaker box in the boot is now loud enough to make the BE vibrate.
:jester:
Maybe now I will hear the tunes over the screaming exhaust
and tranny whine.
I'm thinking some Rolling Stones for the test drive.
Big Head Todd sure was rocking the Buggy Barn this morning.

For long drives I use sound isolating ear buds (se210 Shure). Then I only need a little volume to hear music AND I can actually hear horns/sirens better with all the wind/engine/road noise blocked. I'm not sure if it is legal, but I'm going to do it until I'm cited.

According to the AMA Kentucky has no restrictions on helmet speakers. Of course this is for motorcycles. I don't see much difference.

Ear plugs...GREAT tip.
As for the helmet speakers....that'd be a hoot.
Hey maybe get some of those walkie talkie thingies
I see the Gold Wing boys using. It'd beat the FM
walkie talkies we usually use on joint ventures.
This unit has a front headphone jack.
Drowning out the din from the motor werks can be dangerous.
I accidentally slung driveway gravel everywhere whilst
cranking up Let It Bleed. I noticed when the rear scooted sideways a bit. OOPS! Well, you can't always get what you
want.
Anyway...I'm happy. It's finally loud enough I can get
a little blend. Really great on the lumpy idle and deep rumbles. Throttle blimps with accompaniment if you will.
Volume aplenty for the highway drone as well.
