Sheetz, a chain of gas stations here is currently running a one day July 4th gas promotion. Fill up with ~any~ grade for just $1.776/gal! I filled up my wife's car, my car and a gas can for my scooters.

Elliot,

What's the purpose of UNLEADED 88? Are the other grades (regular, plus and super) leaded?
They are all unleaded. I believe the “unleaded 88” contains more ethanol. The 87 grade I use is 10% ethanol and the 88 grade is 15%.

On a trip out west last month, I was seeing 85 as the lowest octane cheaper fuel. Had to buy the 88 to get what my truck needs. Anybody know why 85 is sold out west?

We had that here in Roanoke.I noticed lines out in the street.
I saw a Tesla heading that way & said to my Wife that they were
probably going to the Sheetz station.
