Just caught a little bit about a 1920's Boeing 40 on PBS (the feed that comes in from Spokane)

About a family that restored an example of the first Boeing plane ever built, according to the PBS story their example is the only one known to be in flying condition... Very cool stuff...

Nice!

We have this Boeing Stearman available at the airport just down the street from us.

$260 / hour to fly it! (and that's USD)

WOW, is that BEAUTIFUL!!!!!!

Ok, NONE of us has any right to grumble about how bad off our cars were when we started with them! And this restorer did NOT have Moss, Victoria British, The Roadster Factory, etc. to help him with parts!!

Look at the before pictures of this aircraft and then QUITCHURBITCHEN!!!! LOL

Wow, a four passenger airliner. No flight attendants, no food, no coffee, and no TOILET.

Ray,

That strictly depends on what the pilot does when you're up there.

James,

Thanks for sharing.Where were the pictures taken?
Nice scenery.

I'll assume many of the photos were taken around Spokane area, as that is where the plane is based out of...

This was mine. I used to take people for rides on the weekends for 15 bucks for 15 min. Those days are gone.
Even though I like color, I think the B&W photos gives a different message to an old aircraft.
