Offline
as posted on "the pub" - im just here at the computer doing some historic research the austin healey and came upon a story about the "black and white" healey (my austinhealey.com) purchaded in 1966 by richard seil, he and his new bride intended to drive the car from london to sydney, he wrote the donald healey motor company regarding raising the suspension on the bj8 he was informed that no other suspension parts were availabl to do so but he was advised to add a sump guard, remove the tail pipe and silencer and replace it with a n/s door pipe, it was also recommended that he " obviously remove the thermostat", the letter is signed yours faithfully, g.r.l price service director. donald healey motor co.--humm /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/wink.gif
