Cat sitting for the next door neighbor, this is Ricky. He freaked out over the camera, so only one frame. Didn't want him stressed out over it.

If the camera freaks him, I can only guess what the fireworks do.

Speaking of...We must stay home tonight. Our Husky get's over the top anxiety when fireworks are going off anywhere within (her) earshot. She paces, pants, tries to crawl under end tables, climbs in my lap - anything to try and get away from the noise. The weird thing is, we have a gun range not far from the house and she isn't bothered in the slightest by gun fire.

I'm doing the same thing. There is a country club about 8 blocks away that has a display. Last year that one made her tail all fluffy.

I've long joked that on the 4th you will find me under the bed with the cats.

Just checked on Ricky, the fireworks are in full throat now. He seems unfazed by it. Ethel is supine on the kitchen floor and Lucy is in the bedroom, not under the bed but on the floor beside it. Over all better than last time.
