Again. He was headed south on a four-lane street as I was traveling north. Could not give chase. And it appeared to have a hand lettered "For Sale" sign in what passes for a rear window. Red, with the soft top.
 
My sister sold her Messerschmitt to a fellow that lived between Florida and Michigan. He came to pick it up in a 3 wheel Bond ? with a very light trailer. That was 25-30 years ago. Her car was red and had the canvas top. Might even have a pic of it somewhere.
