What a waste! /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/frown.gif

And the commision number makes this one a 1972 not a '76.

I thought it was an early model based on the rotting bumper over riders........I can deliver this beauty to one of you lucky bidders for the low low price of $5 a mile. I mean $10 a mile.

It looks like that thing could be home to a pile of snakes in those woods. Take a gun when you go to pick it up.

Always amazing how people just let things go. I've seen motorcycles in junkyards with less than 1500K's, what happened?

1973 Triumph Spitfire.

If it has snakes in it, then there wont be as manny rats as it looks like has.....I do have some swamp land that it would look good in too...
MD(mad dog)

If it stays near $200 it'll still be a bargain for someone - parts is parts. Besides some of those exotic snakes can be worth a pretty penny!

Did anybody see the "customised" Spitfire
on eBay?Comes complete with surfboards!

"needs minor work" hehehehehe.
I dunno. not much there to salvage.

I'd be happy to take the snakes. They could keep company with the ones I already have.

nice, looks like he found a sale at JC Whitney.
Realistically, can any sane human have such horrible taste?
This should have gone in the humor section, with no description, just the picture.

Sure looks fit for the crusher. IMHO, break-even proposition for parts.

Comes down to it, you'll be getting $1/hr to take it apart and sell it off.

Wait, did I see the image of Elvis in the rust on that hood?!?!

Yes, I think he bought everything in the 'New & Hot' section (except I don't see 'Winky the Cat').

Sorry to see Saguaro cactus in the Spit pic -- that means it's in my neighborhood (and a long way from the surf). I can only hope he's in Phoenix and I never set eyes on it.

Gentlemen, I think we have just expirenced
" THE WORLD'S UGLIEST TRIUMPH "
I defy you brother LBCers to top this.
I have seen the piano Dolomite, I have seen the spitfire plane painted spitfire, and I have seen the "yeah baby" british paint jobs. But this brother LBCers is a serious attempt at ....uh, something, that can only be described as alien in nature. A train wreck of Pep Boys, Triumph, and aliens with bad taste ( like the sensitive cavemen on tv)
I can see why so many bids already, summer fairs are a coming, and they need a car to sledgehammer. I bet when it starts up the engine sounds out " E.T. HOOOMMMMMEEEEEE"

As odd and as off the wall and against what most people stand for, it looks like he did a good job.

yea and a butcher cuts a great steak, just doesn't bring the cow back to life! /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/banana.gif
