I like your template for the nose! I wish we'd thought of that 20+ years ago when we were working on the one I own now.
 
Let there be no misunderstanding, I am not doing this work myself. This is the experts at Fourintune. As I see the images being sent to me of the restoration I realize there is no way I could have undertaken this with any degree of success.
 
Hey, cool idea. Make a jigsaw puzzle out of pieces that need to be cut welded, ground down, hogged out and beat to fit. Leave out a few pieces, put in some extra pieces that don't belong, stir it up with some parts that have threads you've never seen before and voila! Of course nothing is painted, everything must be rust colored. A Healey jigsaw puzzle. If it comes in a basket that would be the best.

There's usually a couple for sale on eBay or BaT.
 
Nice Welds and a good job. That's a whole lot more fun than a jig saw puzzle.
