The Importance of Body Mounts [question]

so i've got a 72 gt6. the frame has 10 of the 12 body mount captive nuts that it should have. how important, and thus, how bad do i need the last two? they are the ones just outside the picture attached.

i thought i might just weld some nuts in from the outside if i have to, instead of drilling a two inch hole into each frame rail to properly weld them in from the inside. can anyone recommend what kind of nuts i should buy to weld on? obviously the correct size...

i've got to weld on two brake line mounting brackets, so i'm gonna have to weld a bit anyways. soo close to having it finished.

Flinky: I'm certainly no GT6 expert, but when we restored the 250 many years ago, we found the the mounting points and packing are very important. We did a tub-off like you. We found that adjustment of the packing was critical to maintaining even door gaps and proper alignment of body panels. Without those two mounting points I would think that the tub might sit properly and you may have alignment problems.
Just my $.02.

Good luck!
