Sorta.

Dropped it off the Qwik-Lift and drove it up and down the block a couple times. Shifts from first through third (ran out of room on the street!), and into reverse just fine - no crunches, and the clutch feels right. Accelerates nicely, though I didn't really push it.

Still have some sorting to do on the front and rear suspension; it's sitting pretty low in front. I have new springs to go on; old ones are probably weak. Brakes are OK, but will change out the flex lines on the calipers. Passenger seat needs to be installed. Some wiring needs to be tucked away under and behind the dash. A/C and heating unit has to be installed. Fuel line in the engine bay needs to be shortened and secured. Hood is still off.

When all that is done, it'll go to the paint shop for a redo.

Slowly, but surely!

woo hoo! congrats my friend, good news.

WOOHOO!

A mighty moment, for sure. Nothing like that first drive after a heap of work.

Aloha Mickey,

Congratulations! It is always a thrill when it moves under it's own power. Kind of like seeing your children take their first steps.
