Very glad to see the forum back, have emailed Basil with an offer of help, and if contributions and/or time would be useful, please post sign up instructions or send an email. This forum has got to take a lot of time to run, and I assume money too, so I'm sure many members would help out. This is an invaluable resource and an absolute daily fix /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/eek.gif /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/eek.gif for me /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/cheers.gif
 
Count me in if funds would help. I just can't live without my fix.

GREAT idea /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/cheers.gif /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/cheers.gif I was in a gaming forum once where they had a PayPal button at the top, people would just PayPal in donations, simple and effective. We need to do that here, for sure /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/iagree.gif /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/iagree.gif
 
Not sure he's fixed the "BCF Store" yet, but there "were" a few things you could buy (including a very nice grille badge) to help support the forum... as well as buying something from the banner ads..... (Tire Rack, Classic Motorsports, and many others). /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbsup.gif

I had my horrible drawbacks today too.

I appreciate the sentiment, but I've always wanted to keep the forum free for members. However, I do have a BCF Store where members can purchase British Car Forum car badges and/or a set of BCF info cars and window stickers.

Oh, and if you click on the ads for Tire Rack, Caswell Plating or British Fasteners that appear randomly in the upper-right part of the forum, and then make a purchase fron their online store, the BCF gets a small percentage of each sale. Eventually, they send a check once it reaches a certain level (usually $50).
