Those old Darrins are cool cars. I always liked the sliding doors, and the overall look of the car.
 
I always liked that one too - one shows up at our local show every year, super slick.

Wow that one is really slick. Beautiful car, and the pea green colour actually looks good on it.
 
Everything old is new again. Much has been made lately of the new Peugeot 1007 and its sliding doors.

The Darrin still does it with much more finesse.
 
You could take the front bumper off and use them to plow snow in the winter. Actually they look pretty neat when cleaned up like the one above.

Didn't the BMW Z1 have sliding doors? I think that they slid down?

I've never had sliding doors, but my Jeep doors used to flap around a lot if I took a curve too sharp!

I was wondering the same thing. Funny, I never noticed them before! I'll ask the guy when I see the car in November (unless someone figures it out! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif )
