Any other spridgets going to that show? I plan on going if all goes well. Its going to be a cool one with the high being only 67 down there which means its going to be probably mid 40s up here when I leave out. Definitely top up driving till I get there. I think Ray said he was coming to the show from GA. I figure some of the locals on here like Ben and Hap will be there.

What am I thinking? Tomorrow isn't Saturday!

It is now

Just caught up on your project status, wow oh wow.

I worked the hospitality suite at the Marriott yesterday afternoon and evening, I'll be working as a vendor at the big vendor's tent tommorow with Superlite Wheels, then back to Marriott after the show to do hospitality suite duty again. I'm a Euro Auto Festival board member, we put alot of work into this event, so hoepfully you all will have a ball, and we give the Anerican Red Cross a big fat check. We have 400 cars preregistered, and normally get about 150 registered the day of the show,, so it looks like we'll easily passed 500 cars on the show field again. See ya there.

Missed meeting you at the show Hap, I met Ray and Jack with the green/yellow midget and some other locals. Lots of cars, good food and good fun. Ray said he saw you at the wheel place. I went by there later but didn't see anyone with your name on a tag. The wife and I had fun, though she was not happy at the end of the top down ride back to Asheville. Got cold up here. It was just a cool show, I met my dentist who had recently purchased an Elise.

Had a great time...good to see old friends and make new ones. Could have spent the afternoon hanging out with Hap but he always had a crowd at his booth salivating over the wheels. I suggested to Mary Jane that they might consider getting some log chans, plating them silver, and selling a few wheels/chains to aspiring rap stars...lotsa bling!

The cars were the stars! Whatever your tastes, it was there, be it a 1925 Rolls, an '04 MG SVR (supercar), or a trio of Isettas (I could carry one in my Nissan Titan instead of a spare tire, and save weight).

It was big time fun and our beloved LBCs were well represented. Me, I'm more a fan of all Brit shows...which, from what I hear, just might be coming to the same area next year...WOOHOO!!!

Kim, I think we were probably within feet of each other and missed each other. Vending kept me tied down pretty good, but about the time the awards were being given I made my way thru the show field to go fetch the SUV to load up the vending items, was your's the Gold Midget sitting right near Ray's car, if so I saw the name Webb on it and didn't put 2+2 together, there was a couple sitting in chairs behind it, I was over there saying hello to Ray, and looking at his car.

:wall: Ships that pass in the night...so near yet so far!!! Eh Kim? :jester:
