The "Cadillac" of motorhomes...

You have to admire the guys honesty."major rust in the fenders and floors, inner sills missing, leaks in roof, structural rot....." And I love how he referred to it as "Folk art" That's something I'd expect to see driving around Ithaca N.Y. "full of hippies" neat town, camper would fit right in

Neat, Flintstones floorboards!

Actually, this would be kinda cool when it was all done and fresh looking. Makes me think of a car I see every summer at our local cruise in night (Friday nights, Somerville NJ Main St.). This guy took an early 90's Miata and grafted on the rear clip of a 59 Caddy Eldorado. Very nicely done, top quality work, but it looks like a mini batmobile or something. Every time I see it I don't have my camera, this year I'll try to get a picture.

Is that mostly if not all muscle and hotrods? Thought about going but figured not many sporty British cars there.
Flemington has one but only 1 or 2 British cars if that.

Bruce, yes, it's heavily geared toward American iron. Tons of muscle cars and hotrods of every type. You do see alot of non-modified classics though, like 50's Chevys and Chryslers, stuff like that. Not to many sports cars, unless you count the Vette's, tons of those. Probably more Vettes at this show than any other type of car, easily. I bring the TR6 to represent the classic Brit end of things, but I've run into a few guys that come pretty regularly, one in a Spitfire, another guy in a AH3000, occasionally a guy with an E-type. My buddy Dan brings his long nose D-type replica sometimes, that always draws a crowd. Lots of Cobras there to, mostly kits but there have been one or two real ones. Overall it's a great show, absolutely tons of cars. If I'm not mistaken its the largest cruise in in all of NJ, hundreds of cars. They line main street in the center of town from one end to the other, and the overflow fills the parking lots behind the large church thats in the center of town and some of the side streets. I find it always a fun night regardless of whether any import sports cars show up, although thats always a plus.

There was one here in SLC a while ago at a wrecking yard, I thought it odd that it had the Cadi markings on the front of the upper bed area, It was in good shape for sitting in such a yard, I also found a old TR Herald next to a vista cruiser.
Have fun

I saw a motorhome badged as Austin Healey driving through the Mojave Desert a few months ago. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif
