The British Motorcar Festival Bristol RI


It began on Friday evening with a parade of British Cars to the waterfront park in Bristol.
The parade is wonderful with many residents sitting on lawn chairs in front of their homes, some dressed in appropriate British garb. Others were literally hanging out of their second floor windows as we passed.


Saturday saw approximately 150 British cars of every stripe. Concours was beautiful and very nicely presented.


There was a concours class GT6 in Triumph blue that was as near to perfection as any I’ve seen.

Wow, Ronart, Hillman Gazelle (I think) half top and Allard K2. I don't think I ever seem all of those together over here, where they were all made! Great photos.

Indeed, while not yet attracting the numbers it should. This is a super show, well organized with many exceptional vehicles to look at.
Worth the trip if you can make it!
 
Looked like an amazingly high quality show, and you're right Alan, that mk1 GT6 was stunning!
 
Alan great photos! We were there and it was a good time. Met so many great folks. Our club application is now in the mail :smile:.
