There are lots of new members joining - but some of them get no replies at all to their first "Intro" post.

As of 8 this morning, there are several with no acknowledgment after several days, and even one who posted a week ago - but no one ever replied. Not exactly a good way to welcome new members, eh?

If we have time to natter away in the Pub almost every day, seems we have time to check the New Member Intro forum at the same time. Maybe add a link to the New Member area, at the top of the Pub posts?

Most of my recent posts have been in that section, but I do admit I did not stop there at all this weekend.

I’m guilty as charged. I admit that I’ve fallen behind in welcoming new members. Will try and catch up.

I have made several replies to new members in the past couple of days. I don't always catch them all. It seems the same two or three folks do most of the welcoming. I' would encourage others to jump in and make new folks feel welcomed also. If you see a new member post that hasn't been replied to feel free to make a reply!
