As I sat watching TV last night, I noticed an ad for the the new movie "The Bank Job" and in the commercial I saw what I thought was a Black Triumph 2000 or some other Triumph sedan. So I just looked up the movie online and found this trailer. I guess the movie is set in 1970's London, so it is a visual feast of LBCs (and BCs in general). I might have to see it for that reason alone.

The screen for the trailer is unfortunately a bit small. Did I make the right call on it being a Triumph 2000? (watch closely...it's brief, right at about 2:03)
 
Several LBC's, looked like an MGBGT, a Mini and an XK Jag. Several others that were too quick for my eye.
Looked very interesting. It may have to be my first movie in a theater in 2 years. Thanks.

Yep a MKII If I had time/space/money I would like to have one.

Austin Taxi
Green Morris Traveller
A red coupe - MG or Triumph?
Great corner shot with too many to name
White TR3 or XK120 - not sure, just right front corner
Silver E-type
Red TR3
A couple of land rovers....

Of course Jason Statham is cool and would probably kick James Bond's butt! LoL

Oh yeah, something about a bank heist and a pretty female lead character...

I need a life!! :smile:
 
I caught the red TR3 (watching the trailer on the computer). Went back and checked again just to make sure I could ID it. Car geeks... :smile:
 
I thought that you were referring to how most of us plan to pay off our restoration projects....

you are right. The Bank Job is a movie about a group of guys, and lady who are restoring classic cars and work out a way to fund it..........We can all learn from this.

oh god, is that really the premis of the movie? i caught the trailer on tv, the tail end of it ....i can see this movie giving all of us some bad ideas! lol once again proving that english cars will cost you a fortune......

Oh, my God! They made a movie about is!
 
"The Bank Job" got a nice review on the televised show "Ebert & Roeper", calling it a tight, lean action film, without once mentioning what's <span style="font-style: italic">really</span> important, the vast collection of LBCs!
