Same focus, manual only. Fixed β±8. With the APS-C sensor it works out to a 750mm and around β±10~11, so not much hope with twilight lighting.
That "double exposure" look is a characteristic of the mirror optics. Two reflections when an object outside the focal point hits the focal plane of the camera.
This one is a Nikkor-C version, got it from a seller in Japan for "skinny money" a while ago. The shots of the cell tower with a juvenile osprey were taken with it, along with the other birds in that thread.
