Just to keep you guys in the picture with what is happening on our side of the pond.

On Saturday 20 September here at the Goodwood Race Track , they held a race that represented the 9 hour races of days gone by at the circuit that drifted on into the evening. It was the last race of the day and started at 6.00pm it lasted only 90 minutes but in the middle 30 minutes there was a window in which all cars had to come into the pits for a 5 minute refuel & change of drivers. The 100S was driven for the first half by Pirro and he was almost a lap in front of the rest of the field when he came in for his pit stop.
Typical of the Healeys, it refused to start for the second stint but they finally got her going with a push. Graham took her on to win with an everage lap time of 1,31.460 though the lead had somewhat dwindled. It was great to watch as the sun set over the Lavant corner and the car lights came on as the twilight settled in.

The weather was superb and the racing during the day was brilliant, but the last race was the one for me, out on the Lavant straight with my BJ7, looking on as one of it's relatives lead the pack home to win.

Thank you so much for the update, I hope they replay the Revival on The Speed Channel or Discovery. I still watch my recordings from last years Rivival for a thrill. I hope to make it back soon after attending the Festival of Speed a couple years back. We had a wonderful time the whole trip was great and I found the best food and fun was at the small country village pubs. Please post any pictures you may have take of the 100-S.

My camera work is not renown as being on a class with David Bailey et al. However I think I managed a couple of rear end shots as it disappeared into the distance. I will upload them onto the computer and see what comes out, see if they are work putting on.
