I could have sworn I put a post on here earlier linking to https://healey.hyperboards.com, the UK based forum, where UK Healey people will be able to list UK events, and discuss UK related issues, and US people will be able to ask questions of us if you are visiting the home of Healeys and Lucas, but it seems to have disappeared, so I'll try again!

It's here now!......thanks!......I am going to check it out right now

You will find that it is a bit quiet so far. It's existed independently for a while, but has now been adopted by the Austin Healey Club UK so hopefully will start to become a bit busier.

Hi John,
That's an understatement, the last discussion entry was on Mar. 9.
I personally object to the following stated policy which seems a bit onerous. Nearly as bad as "Yahoo Groups":
---------------
"# Limitations on Use:
1. You agree to refrain from using 'ad-blockers' such as 'pop-up blockers' and the use of 'scripts' or html in order to disable or hide any and all advertisements found on any and all Hyperboards forums. If you are using a browser with a built in 'pop-up blocker' you agree to disable the 'ad-blocking' feature on your browser. Hyperboards reserves the right to terminate any and all accounts that fail to comply with this term."
----------------
Strictly my opinion,

Regards,
D

That is hyperboards policy rather than mine - I understand what you're saying though!! On the other hand, they have to make money somehow!

As it happens, now the board has been adopted by the UK AHC, they are paying so that there are no ads at all, so that bit of the policy becomes irrelevant.

Cheers,

John
