Just had to share some joy. As I've probably mentioned in the past, I'm expanding my garage, so my cars have had to find temporary shelter elsewhere. Greenie has gone to live with my girlfriend and as a result, I simply haven't been driving him as much. In fact, I hadn't started the old boy in about a month and a half. Well, I stayed at her place last night, and figured I'd turn the Green Machine over and see how he'd do. I hopped in this morning, pulled the choke, turned the key, and he caught *immediately*. So proud of him!

My girlfriend was quick to point out that if I let the bloody Lotus sit for three days without driving it, it's teeny battery loses charge and he won't start without help from my Jeep. Greenie happened to be parked next to the Lotus this morning, so I believe he was showing off for his younger cousin. /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/thumbsup.gif

New-fangled Ee-lektrics, Bill!

...only solution is to go out and find a forty year old Elan! /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/jester.gif

It's nice to know that your girlfriend looks out for the well being of your cars.
