Way to close. Drove 170 miles today in the 73 all the way down to Fargo and back and then to the car wash and then back home. Caught a whiff of hot anti freeze at the grand forks exit but figured it was the junker in front of me as the car was running cool. Got to the car wash and removed the 10#s of bugs and caught a whiff of anti freeze again. Popped the hood and couldn't find anything a miss. 3/4 of a mile from my apt. the temp gauge started a quick climb towards hot and by the time I made it to my garage it was just about to the H. Turns out I had a hole open up in the heater joint in the lower hose that was able to remove over a gallon of water in that short time.
At least it will be an easy fix and it didn't happen out in bfe as a tow would of sucked as flatbed tow trucks are not common around here. On the plus side I wont have to fix it till the end of august as I'm heading back home to visit the rents and hopefully the 75 wont need anything other than a good wash, buffing and wax.
