That graphic is very annoying!

Welcome. Yes it can be, but it is a needed as an introductory and get more to sign up instead of lurking. We haven't hurt anybody yet. :encouragement:

Im working on a 77 B here in Caifornia.

Hi Rick. That little graphic was put in place because it had become apparent that too many people were only lurking and not contributing or otherwise participating in the forum. It was a way to encourage folks to join in and not just lurk. Look at it this way - if everyone lurked and nobody actually participated in the forums, then there would not be any need for the forum and we could just shut it down. With that said, welcome to the BCF! You're profile says you're in Clovis (I'm in Edgewood, NM by the way), but you say you are working on a car in California. Have you moved there from Clovis, or just there temporarily?
