It was a beautiful Thanksgiving Day in Maryland, and Jessica and I got a rather unexpected chance to squeeze in one more top-down drive during 2015. Happy Thanksgiving everyone!

Thanks for that.....we got snow and ice and salt! [Jealous!]

Kurt.

Good for you. We had enough rain to fill any car with the top down.

Looks like great fun! Snow and high winds here. Needless to say I'm jealous.

Still hoping to get the wee one out at least ONE more time on a crisp December day.

No driving but Bugsy II made another step in the restiloration process. He is now sitting 90 degrees off of horizontal and on the rotisserie. Yeah progress.

Managed to squeeze in another drive today. This one was at sunset and shortly thereafter. Even though the temps were still hovering around 60 when we left, when you would drive into the stream valleys, the colder air had already sunk in. I needed to open the two vents in the footwells and kick the heater on. Still fun, though.

I've been enjoying the **** out of the mild cool weather as well in Virginia beach. Driving the little car exclusively right now. Soon I'll have to park her in the garage I just want to enjoy her while I can.

Right now, I'm planning on driving the car until the first snow or the New Year, whichever occurs first. Even top-up, it's still a fun car to drive, although some of the "perception of speed" is lost with the top up. It's a lot quieter, though.

January and February are usually the months I do the repair and maintenance on the car. I don't have any huge projects like I've had in the previous year. This year it's mostly some front end maintenance, brakes and cosmetic work.

Top up, ****, I'm not even driving around with an air cleaner right now... Swapped carbs since I have to rebuild the other one.
