In addition to searching for "the car" at local car clubs, I've also been looking "on the web". A roadworthy, 50 footer MGTD.

Wow - what a gamut in the findings. Some good one-owner cars, some high priced show cars, some Craigslist flippers, and some honest joe's. (Very frustrating to finally find a good car on Craigslist, but discover it's just been bought by a dealer and reposted on ebay for twice the price.)

It sure makes the whole process a bit easier when you have fellow forum members giving advice and checking on cars personally.

Amazing the expertise and experience we have here. Instead of "buying blind" from an online ad, I've found some BCF members who have volunteered to check on cars I'm interested in. What a huge help that is.

So, as the adventure continues, I'm thanking Basil and BCF members for all the help I'm taking advantage of. And I'm taking a *lot* of advantage!

Thanks all.
