Thankksgiving Day Drive

Last year Thanksgiving Day, my wife and I took the TR3 out for a 50 mile drive (We celebrate Thanksgiving on Friday or Saturday so everyone can have time to travel).

This year, we will do the same thing. The roads are empty (except for my traveling relatives) and the people that are out there are generally in the same mind set as we are.

If you get the chance, give it a try. I will provide some "through the windshield" photos on Friday.

Have a good weekend everyone.

Sounds like an excellent idea. If its not raining the wife and I may go for what could be our last ride of the year before putting the TR6 up on blocks for the winter. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/cheers.gif

Great idea for a Thanksgiving thread /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/england.gif

You sure are a wuss if you don't take a top down drive today here in Cheeseland..it will be 55 in my neck of the woods.

I might just TOW one of my TR's around today....hehehe

Took the 3A out for a spin, 35.8 degrees on Wednesday. Top up, but no windows so probably like the 6 with top down. Dressed in hunters orange cap, gloves, and barn coat, heated seat on full. When I turned the heater blower on, it was so cold in the car that the air condensed for a while. Screamin' WOOHOO to stay warm - what a B L A S T !

We're headed to Vermont today (in the Tundra) for family visit so to everyone Have a safe and happy Thanksgiving!!!!!!

Peter
