What did he do this time

'course the red shift could be due to chemicals in our own atmosphere acting as a progressing Wratten #25.

Did Kodak pay you to post that, Greg?!?! :jester:

Mamma they took my Kodachrome awayyyy...

:madder:

They stopped making my favorite B/W paper years ago too. Elite had great range. Sold my darkroom stuff not too long after that.

I'm still sittin' on Omega enlargers, Nikkor tanks, sooo much crap it defies listing.

I'm a nidiot!!!

I have some stuff you could add to your stash, Doc.

What's a darkroom?
How ya gonna see to plug the cable in from your camera to download your pics?

One of those "Safe lights" I have is from th' early '50's.

Heck, I am still taking film-type Xrays. Fact I just had to buy a new automatic developer. All the newbies are buying digital.

The new girl in the office just opened a new box of 'spensive panoramic Xray film. With the friggin light on the the dark room! Her response, "How was I to see what I was doing?" What's another hunnerd dollars?

Guess that wouldn't happen with digital.

I'm not looking forward to the day we have to hire new people. A roll of my color film is $1400 a pop.

Beseler 67CXLII twin-girder and a condenser head here, from a commercial lab in downtown DC. Even have a Disc neg carrier. Not much use from that one - plus Nikkor lenses. Long ago misplaced my steel tanks and reels, I think I lost them in a move.

If I could get rid of all the aerial film-based stuff we have for digital, I would. We just don't have the money for it right now.

Understand THAT dilemma. We've also a bag full of prime lenses, as well as my original Ftn and F2 bodies, motors, bellows, blah-blah-blah.

Can't justify the expense to go to digital gear, not enuff business here for it.

Call me DINOSAUR.

I've got one kickkin Durst color enlarger, and a bunch of darkroom goodies. I'd love to find it all a good home for a super price. No time or space.. I love workin with film tho...
