I see Moss no longer lists this and I have a 62 3000 coming in for a visit with cooling issues, does anybody know where I can buy one? I put one on my car and it works great.

Denis Welch.

PS - if they have cooling issues in Michigan, they should clean out their radiator and cooling system.

I live in SoCal and have a 4-row radiator, 6-bladed fan and backflushed clean block -- only time it gets hot is stuck in traffic.

I believe there was a discussion about this not too long ago and there's a BMW fan that'll work?

I agree. We are preparing for a "major service" as Inspector Clouseau would say.

The Texas Cooler was manufactured by HADEN here in the
USA
I thought I had the original box but I must have thrown it out.

Some of the guys in the Texas crowd may know the Haden Part Number.

OH! N if you do not have a Texas cooler even with all the other monstrous upgrades when you get stuck in traffic you gonna heat up-:highly_amused:

I agree, it was the best non stock addition I made to the car. Watching the temperature gauge became an occasional thing .

If you check with Healy Surgeons I think you will find that they handle the plastic fan along with the six bladed metal fan!! May save some shipping.

The part number from the Hayden box for the 14" plastic 6-bladed fan is #3602.

Jerry
Hayden was bought out and the company that bought them destroyed the original mold(s) and probably a lot of other molds because it was taking up to much storage space. Not sure if the storage space is true, but you know how those things can happen when the bean counters go to work. I'm in the North Texas Austin Healey Club(President).

I thought one of you fellas knew the part number.-:highly_amused:--Thanks for the update Patrick :encouragement:

You would not believe how many inquiries I still get about the Texas Kooler, even from overseas!
