This is pretty funny - the forum software has some "special words" and *f e t c h* is apparently one of them.
Putting it in a post by itself produces this:

Hmmm...interesting, Tony.

My guess, being a southerner, is that the original programmer was the wife of a southerner and resented the "F" word, as in... "Hey hon...would you F E T C H me another cold one..."

On another board I go to, I can't type " Pertronix" but I can type " pertronix" The capital P in combination with either the space or the lower case e gives me a silly emoticon symbol. Oh I hate that.
