By george Mike, you do indeed. Strange how that runs around. Something else I see intresting your throtle lever is toward the rear, mine has to turn the other way ie it has to be facing outward to pull up. No telling which is correct by me, maybe I have the throtle plates on wrong, naaaa.

I fact those carbs are different than mine entirely, I have H1s what are those? H2s.

I doubt that you have the throttle plates in wrong (unless if you lift the plungers, look in the throat and cannot see the set-screw heads). It is much more likely that you have the interconnecting linkage between the carbs in upside-down, and the adjustable links actuating each butterfly reversed. The throttle lever should be as on mine in order to be able to obtain the correct adjustment for the slack in the cable (done with a feeler guage between the heat-shield and the "foot" on the throttle lever which should be to the engine side, while the clamps making each carb independent are loose, once that clearance is correct, then the carbs may be synchronized by setting the clamps on each side of the throttle lever This of course is all done after each carb has been properly tuned! Is that clear? I mean I almost confused myself trying to explain it!

PS. Yes they are H2s and looking at my diagrams, yours is more than likely set up right, I just wasted my breath outlining the set-up for an HS2 to you(If you look at diagram on p84 in VB, that is what I have, and looking at p86, I see what you have! I never realized how quite different the linkages are!!

And that test picture by the way. That is gorgeous (maybe a little over-done), where did that come from!!!

I'd say. Nice but a bit much. When you plate the shock bolts, that a bit over the top.

I drool eveytime I look at that engine. It came from here on the board. Belongs to someone here.

I remember he said he did not want his wife to know what it cost to do that. hehe.
