So I ordered the proper # of studs for my MKII only to find that I don't have the proper # of holes to put them in. I need enlightenment as to which goes where. My before pictures of the car show a couple of tiny round headed studs at the front of the doors and one large stud on the rearview mirror mount. Help!

So this is for your Tonneau?
MKII Midget or Sprite?
My Sprite has the same as what you are describing, three studs up front with the one in the middle being a bigger one.

Yes, these should be for the tonneau. After looking at some pics of other cars it seems that mine are in the wrong spot. They are actually on the body rather than on the dash. No holes where there should be on the dash and the one in the middle of the dash replaces one of the screws in the mirror base. I will post a picture later. MKII Sprite, early 62
